Connexion Shenzhen — October 13–15

Connexion Shenzhen is one of the biggest sourcing events of the month, but it is better understood as a collection of exhibitions under one roof rather than one narrow trade show.

The 2026 edition covers around 160,000 square meters, with approximately 2,000 exhibitors, 120,000 professional visitors and 100+ events.

The show spans two broad areas:

  • Food, hospitality, furniture, health and lifestyle
  • Machinery, electronics and industrial equipment

Individual halls cover coffee and tea, food and beverages, bakery, hotel equipment, commercial furniture, health products, cleaning, smart hotels, private-label manufacturing, industrial automation, robotics, food-processing machinery, consumer electronics and cross-border e-commerce.

Its timing also makes it useful for international buyers attending the opening phase of the Canton Fair in Guangzhou.

Greater Bay Area Holiday & Commercial Display Sourcing Conference — October 13–15

This more specialized sourcing event focuses on commercial display, seasonal installations, retail spaces and visual merchandising.

It is particularly relevant to shopping malls, retailers, hospitality companies, designers, manufacturers and companies supplying large commercial spaces.

Expect products and services around:

  • Holiday decorations
  • Retail displays
  • Commercial installations
  • IP and themed displays
  • Shopping-mall decoration
  • Visual merchandising
  • Design and manufacturing

Dubai Business Forum China — October 14

The Dubai Business Forum China is a high-level China–Dubai business conference organized by Dubai Chambers.

Unlike most events in this guide, it is an invitation-only business forum rather than an exhibition. The focus is on investment, international expansion and connecting Chinese companies with Dubai’s business ecosystem.

The Shenzhen edition is designed for executives, investors and companies exploring commercial opportunities between China, Dubai and the wider Middle East.

WESEMiBAY Semiconductor Ecosystem Expo — October 14–16

WESEMiBAY is one of October’s most important events for Shenzhen’s semiconductor industry.

  • 4,500+ exhibitors
  • Around 300,000 visits
  • Approximately 300,000 sqm of exhibition space
  • Around 1 million products
  • Participants from 60+ countries

Despite the name, it covers far more than gifts.

Product categories include:

  • Consumer electronics
  • Smart home appliances
  • Beauty
  • Bags and leather goods
  • Fitness products
  • Food
  • Kitchenware
  • Home decoration
  • Home textiles
  • Outdoor products
  • Stationery
  • Promotional products
  • Packaging
  • Watches and fashion accessories

There are also dedicated halls for mobile electronics, smart-home products and Chinese brands expanding overseas.

For Amazon sellers, retailers, distributors and international buyers, this is one of the strongest sourcing events of the month.

Fashion Source Shenzhen + Shenzhen Original Design Fashion Week — October 21–23

Fashion Source is Shenzhen’s major fashion-supply-chain exhibition.

The autumn 2026 edition expects approximately:

  • 60,000 sqm
  • 800+ exhibitors
  • 60,000+ professional visitors
  • 30+ fashion shows
  • 80+ on-site events
  • 200+ business-matching sessions

The exhibition covers:

ICBE Shenzhen International Cross-Border E-Commerce Expo — October 28–30

ICBE is Shenzhen’s main late-October cross-border e-commerce show.

The exhibition focuses on four main groups:

  • Chinese brands and manufacturers
  • E-commerce marketplaces
  • Cross-border service providers
  • E-commerce zones and industrial parks

Platforms associated with the sector include Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Lazada, AliExpress and Newegg.

Product categories include consumer electronics, household products, outdoor goods, furniture, gifts and lifestyle products.

For manufacturers trying to sell overseas — or service companies looking for Chinese exporter clients — this is one of the most directly relevant October events.

Shenzhen is one of the best cities in China for Amazon and cross-border e-commerce events, but many smaller seller meetups are announced only a few weeks in advance.

For October 2026, the main confirmed event is ICBE.

Smaller Amazon & Cross-Border Seller Meetups

Huodongxing regularly lists smaller Shenzhen events such as:

  • Amazon seller meetups and regional seller conferences
  • Cross-border seller closed-door sessions
  • TikTok Shop workshops
  • Brand-going-global conferences
  • International advertising and growth workshops
  • Seller tax and compliance sessions
  • Logistics and payment-provider networking
  • Marketplace operations workshops

These events may only attract a few dozen or a few hundred attendees, but they can sometimes be better than a huge trade show for actually meeting other sellers and operators.

Since this guide first went out, platforms and agencies have announced a run of October seller events in Shenzhen. Most are in Chinese:

Connexion Shenzhen brings around 2,000 exhibitors to Shenzhen World while WESEMiBAY fills Futian with semiconductor companies and TCT Shenzhen covers additive manufacturing.

Hong Kong is also running Global Sources and the Electronics Fair during almost exactly the same period.

This is probably the strongest early-October window for international business visitors.

October 20–23: Consumer Products + Fashion

The China Gifts & Home Fair is the headline event, with 4,500+ exhibitors and around one million products.

At the same time, Fashion Source Shenzhen adds another 800+ fashion and textile suppliers in Futian.

Canton Fair Phase 1 also ends on October 19, making it easy to move directly from Guangzhou to Shenzhen.

October 27–30: Electronics + AI + E-Commerce

This is Shenzhen’s biggest technology week of the month.

In Bao’an:

  • NEPCON ASIA

  • S-FACTORY
  • Electronic Sourcing Show
  • FILM & TAPE EXPO

Meanwhile in Futian:

  • ICBE focuses on cross-border e-commerce
  • CPDC focuses on AI computing and data-center infrastructure

Hong Kong’s International Lighting Fair is also running at the same time.

If you work in Chinese hardware, manufacturing, AI infrastructure, e-commerce or Chinese brands going global, October 27–30 is probably the most valuable period of the month to be in Shenzhen.

For overseas buyers, October is one of the best months of the year to visit South China because Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Hong Kong all run major sourcing exhibitions within days of one another.

A strong itinerary could look like:

For someone sourcing electronics, consumer products or working with Chinese exporters, that gives access to tens of thousands of suppliers across Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Hong Kong in roughly three weeks.
