What is Shenzhen International Consumer Electronics Show (CME)?
CME is a B2B sourcing fair for consumer electronics, run by RX Huabo, the Reed/RX joint venture that also organises Shenzhen's giant Gifts & Home Fair. Until May 2026 it was called the China Mobile Electronics Fair (深圳国际移动电子展); the organizer renamed it the Shenzhen International Consumer Electronics Show and added two new sections, AI smart tech and new energy / energy storage. It is held twice a year, in April and October, at Shenzhen World in Bao'an, and the October 2026 edition is the 18th.
The floor is the kind of product you would find in Huaqiangbei, only presented by the brands and factories themselves. Hall 14 covers mobile audio (TWS earbuds, bone-conduction and open-ear headphones, Bluetooth speakers), fast chargers, power banks and portable power stations. Hall 16 covers phone and PC accessories, live-streaming and camera gear, smart personal care, wearables and AI glasses, outdoor electronics such as e-scooters and drones, car electronics and smart-home devices. For the April 2026 edition the organizer announced brands including Xiaomi, Baseus, PISEN, Godox, SKG, Shokz, Edifier, Dreame, DJI, Rokid, RayNeo, EZVIZ, Ecovacs, Tineco, 1MORE, Philips and ORICO. The October 2025 line-up also listed Anker, Hohem, Laifen, Dyson, JBL, Midea and TCL.
The fair's particular angle is the gift and premium channel. Because it runs on the same dates as the Gifts & Home Fair, which the organizer says brings 4,500+ exhibitors, visitors include corporate-gift companies, supermarket and retail buyers, promotional-product agencies and cross-border e-commerce sellers as well as electronics distributors. The organizer's own case study is the audio brand Cleer, which it says built a gift channel worth about a third of its offline business through the show. AI glasses got a lot of attention in 2026, and the organizer notes that Shenzhen makes roughly one in every two pairs sold worldwide.
For October 2026 the organizer plans more than 60,000 m² across Halls 12, 14 and 16 and 1,200+ exhibitors. Each edition also runs a programme of trend forums; the organizer promised more than ten for April 2026. Past forums covered AI in consumer electronics, wearables, and cross-border e-commerce and compliance. There have also been lighter extras such as robot performances and an esports tournament in 2025.
It is a trade-only show (18+, pre-registration, ID checked at the door), but entry is free. If you source electronics for an online store, a gift business or retail, it is an efficient way to meet hundreds of Shenzhen brands in one or two days. You can then walk across to the Gifts & Home halls on the same badge day.
Why go
- Source consumer electronics (earbuds, chargers, power stations, wearables, AI glasses, personal care) directly from Shenzhen brands and factories
- Meet brands that actively sell into the corporate-gift, supermarket and cross-border e-commerce channels
- Combine it with the huge Shenzhen Gifts & Home Fair running on the same dates at the same venue
- See the new AI smart-tech and energy-storage sections added when the show was renamed in 2026
- Free entry for trade visitors who pre-register, plus a free pre-show matchmaking service for buyers
Our take
Pre-register online well before the fair and bring your passport, because staff match your ID against your registration at the door. The last day (23 Oct 2026) closes at 16:00, an hour earlier than the other days. Plan a full day if you also want to walk the Gifts & Home Fair halls.
Go if you're
- Corporate-gift and promotional-product companies looking for electronics
- Amazon, TikTok Shop and other cross-border sellers sourcing accessories and gadgets
- Supermarket, retail-chain and distributor buyers
- Electronics brands and importers scouting OEM/ODM suppliers

Flying in? The visitor guide
What international buyers ask us most, in one place.
Many passports get 30 days visa-free, and 55 nationalities can use 240-hour visa-free transit via Shenzhen when flying on to a third country. Check your eligibility before booking.
Link a Visa or Mastercard to Alipay or WeChat Pay before you fly — booths, taxis and canteens rarely take cards. Keep ¥500 cash for samples.
Get a roaming eSIM: Google, WhatsApp and Gmail don't work on hotel or venue Wi-Fi. Suppliers will ask for your WeChat, not your email.
Pre-register, bring your passport to collect the badge, and pack 200 business cards. Photograph each card next to the booth number — you'll forget by day two.
Hall English is patchy outside the big brands. A freelance interpreter costs ¥800–1,500 a day; book a week ahead for big fairs.
Don't carry 40 kg home. SF Express and DHL counters sit in the main lobbies and will ship samples door to door from about ¥200.
Hotels on site sell out months ahead. Bao'an Center or Qianhai are 25–30 min away with far more choice.
- Wear proper walking shoes — 20k steps a day is normal.
- Taxi queues after 5pm are brutal; walk to Shenzhen World North station or book a Didi for 4:30pm.
- Food courts sit along the central corridor; the ones at the far ends are quieter.
