What is CIME Shenzhen International Thermal Conductive & Heat Dissipation Materials and Equipment Exhibition?

CIME is a trade show for heat-management materials and equipment. It started in Shenzhen in 2013 and is run by Bohan Exhibition and Shenzhen Liyue Exhibition. It now tours several cities: Shenzhen in June, and Suzhou and Shanghai later in the year. The edition numbers count every city, which is why the June 2027 Shenzhen show is billed as the 18th. In Shenzhen, CIME runs at Shenzhen World in Bao'an together with two sister shows from the same organizers. These are the Shenzhen International AI Computing Power Industry Expo and the Shenzhen International Data Center Liquid Cooling Technology Expo, which will be in its 10th edition in 2027. Together they present the full chain from thermal materials to cooled AI infrastructure.

On the CIME side you find thermal fillers and thermal-interface materials, graphite and graphene, carbon materials, ceramic substrates, high-performance heat-dissipation materials, and the machines that process them. The liquid-cooling side covers cold plates and microchannel plates, server and CDU cabinets, manifolds, pumps and valves, quick-disconnect couplings, leak and helium testing, immersion and spray cooling, cooling towers and heat exchangers, and CNC, laser, brazing and 3D-printing equipment for making the parts. Companies at the June 2026 shows included Gree, Emicon (依米康), Zhejiang Sanhua, Tongfei, Foxconn (Futaihua), McQuay, Brother, Create Century and Qiaofeng. There were also liquid-cooling specialists such as Baizan Gaohongjie and materials firms such as Guangdong Puwan.

According to the organizer's report, the combined June 2026 event covered 40,000 m² with 874 exhibitors and 51,065 professional visitors, across Halls 14 and 16. For 2027 the organizers are aiming for about 60,000 m² and around 30 technical talks. The visitors they target are engineers and buyers from data centres, telecom, consumer electronics, power electronics, EVs and batteries, energy storage, solar, semiconductors and aerospace.

The show suits the moment. AI servers have pushed rack power high enough that liquid cooling is becoming standard, and Shenzhen and Dongguan are full of the server, phone and battery makers who need these parts. CIME is a practical sourcing floor rather than a research conference. Many exhibitors are component makers and equipment builders, so it is a good place to find cold-plate, heat-sink and TIM vendors and to compare CNC and brazing equipment.

Why go

  1. Three shows in one visit: thermal materials (CIME), data-centre liquid cooling and AI computing infrastructure
  2. Source cold plates, CDUs, manifolds, quick connectors, pumps and TIMs from Pearl River Delta suppliers
  3. Compare CNC, brazing, laser and 3D-printing equipment used to make liquid-cooling parts
  4. Group visits (20+) get VIP badges, lunch and supplier matchmaking from the organizer

Our take

Pre-register through the WeChat mini-program '国际导热散热展'. If you can't, bring business cards for the on-site desk. The organizer hands out a printed show catalogue free during the show, which is the easiest way to get the full exhibitor list.

Go if you're

  • Data-centre and AI-server teams planning liquid cooling
  • Thermal engineers at consumer-electronics, EV, battery and energy-storage makers
  • Buyers sourcing thermal materials, cold plates and cooling components
  • Machine shops and manufacturers looking at CNC, brazing and test equipment

Flying in? The visitor guide

What international buyers ask us most, in one place.

Visa-free entry

Many passports get 30 days visa-free, and 55 nationalities can use 240-hour visa-free transit via Shenzhen when flying on to a third country. Check your eligibility before booking.

Paying for things

Link a Visa or Mastercard to Alipay or WeChat Pay before you fly — booths, taxis and canteens rarely take cards. Keep ¥500 cash for samples.

Staying online

Get a roaming eSIM: Google, WhatsApp and Gmail don't work on hotel or venue Wi-Fi. Suppliers will ask for your WeChat, not your email.

Badge & business cards

Pre-register, bring your passport to collect the badge, and pack 200 business cards. Photograph each card next to the booth number — you'll forget by day two.

Interpreters

Hall English is patchy outside the big brands. A freelance interpreter costs ¥800–1,500 a day; book a week ahead for big fairs.

Samples & shipping

Don't carry 40 kg home. SF Express and DHL counters sit in the main lobbies and will ship samples door to door from about ¥200.

Where to stay near Shenzhen World

Hotels on site sell out months ahead. Bao'an Center or Qianhai are 25–30 min away with far more choice.

  • Wear proper walking shoes — 20k steps a day is normal.
  • Taxi queues after 5pm are brutal; walk to Shenzhen World North station or book a Didi for 4:30pm.
  • Food courts sit along the central corridor; the ones at the far ends are quieter.
