China Resources Tower is the white, tapering skyscraper in Houhai that locals call 春笋 — "Spring Bamboo" — for its 56 slender columns that curve inward to a point. At 393 metres it's the tallest building in Nanshan and the anchor of the Shenzhen Bay skyline.

It's an office tower, not an attraction, so there's no public observation deck. The reason to come is the building from the outside: the plaza at its foot, Shenzhen Bay MixC next door (with Fotografiska on its top floor), ON AIR Live's gigs in the basement, and Talent Park across the road, where the tower glows white at night.
