What is ROBOTECH – Embodied Robotics Technology & Application Expo?
ROBOTECH is a robotics show built around what the Chinese industry now calls embodied intelligence: robots with an AI "brain" that can see, decide and physically handle things. The government think-tank CCID (China Center for Information Industry Development) is the host, and CCID Media and RX China run it. It sits inside RX's ITWA industrial cluster at Shenzhen World in late October, so it shares Halls 9–16 and one visitor badge with NEPCON ASIA, S-FACTORY, VisionChina, Automotive World China and the display and materials shows. Shenzhen World's own calendar lists it as the Asia Embodied Robotics Application & Supply Chain Expo.
The floor covers complete robots and the supply chain behind them. On the robot side you will find humanoids, quadrupeds, wheeled and mobile manipulators, exoskeletons, bionic machines and special-purpose robots for inspection or hazardous work. The supply-chain side has joints, reducers, bearings, sensors and materials, AI algorithms, testing and certification bodies, contract manufacturers and the integrators who adapt robots for a specific job. Names the organiser lists for 2026 include Unitree, Leju, DEEP Robotics, ROKAE, Shenhao, NSK and harmonic-reducer maker Laifual.
The show sorts its content into three use cases: industrial work (palletising, handling, electronics assembly), commercial services (hotels, retail, catering) and special operations such as power-plant inspection, mining, chemical sites and emergency response. Live demos, robot competitions and service-robot stations (bartending and coffee) run on the floor. The organiser also posts buyers' purchasing requests before the show, from humanoid co-workers to patrol robot dogs, and arranges one-to-one supplier meetings.
The programme is billed as the Embodied Intelligence Robotics Industry Development Conference. Across the three days, two on-floor theatres host forums on supply-chain collaboration, industrial deployment, commercial service robots, extreme-environment robots, product design and simulation, and training robot technicians, plus a Greater Bay Area robotics innovation forum with an awards ceremony. Factory visits, including Flexiv, are offered during the show.
For anyone following Shenzhen's robot boom, this is a compact place to compare hardware, find component suppliers and hear how companies are actually putting humanoids and quadrupeds to work, a day's walk from the Bao'an factories that could build them.
Why go
- See humanoid, quadruped, wheeled and special-purpose robots working in live demos and competitions
- Source robot components (joints, reducers, bearings, sensors) and contract manufacturers in one hall
- Free forums on industrial, commercial-service and hazardous-environment deployment of embodied AI
- Organiser-arranged supplier matchmaking and posted buyer requests for robots
- The same free badge covers NEPCON ASIA, S-FACTORY and VisionChina in Halls 9–16
Our take
Go on the 27th or 28th, when most of the forums run, and pre-register so you just collect the badge at the South Lobby. The badge also covers the S-FACTORY and NEPCON ASIA halls, where the automation and SMT suppliers that robot makers depend on are exhibiting.
Go if you're
- Engineers and product managers at robot makers and component suppliers
- Factory automation leads in electronics, automotive, new-energy and logistics
- Operators in hotels, retail and catering evaluating service robots
- Power, chemical, mining and emergency-response operators looking at special-purpose robots
- System integrators, investors and robotics educators

Flying in? The visitor guide
What international buyers ask us most, in one place.
Many passports get 30 days visa-free, and 55 nationalities can use 240-hour visa-free transit via Shenzhen when flying on to a third country. Check your eligibility before booking.
Link a Visa or Mastercard to Alipay or WeChat Pay before you fly — booths, taxis and canteens rarely take cards. Keep ¥500 cash for samples.
Get a roaming eSIM: Google, WhatsApp and Gmail don't work on hotel or venue Wi-Fi. Suppliers will ask for your WeChat, not your email.
Pre-register, bring your passport to collect the badge, and pack 200 business cards. Photograph each card next to the booth number — you'll forget by day two.
Hall English is patchy outside the big brands. A freelance interpreter costs ¥800–1,500 a day; book a week ahead for big fairs.
Don't carry 40 kg home. SF Express and DHL counters sit in the main lobbies and will ship samples door to door from about ¥200.
Hotels on site sell out months ahead. Bao'an Center or Qianhai are 25–30 min away with far more choice.
- Wear proper walking shoes — 20k steps a day is normal.
- Taxi queues after 5pm are brutal; walk to Shenzhen World North station or book a Didi for 4:30pm.
- Food courts sit along the central corridor; the ones at the far ends are quieter.
Good to know
When is ROBOTECH – Embodied Robotics Technology & Application Expo 2026?
Tue 27 Oct – Thu 29 Oct 2026. Doors open at 9:30am; the last day closes at 3:30pm.
Where is ROBOTECH – Embodied Robotics Technology & Application Expo held?
Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (深圳国际会展中心), 1 Zhancheng Rd, Fuhai, Bao'an District. Take metro Line 12/20 to Shenzhen World station.
Is ROBOTECH – Embodied Robotics Technology & Application Expo free to visit?
Yes for trade visitors. Pre-register online to skip the queue, or just turn up and register at the counter with your passport.
Is ROBOTECH – Embodied Robotics Technology & Application Expo open to the public?
No — it's trade only. Register with your company details and bring a business card.
What does "embodied robotics" mean here?
Robots that combine AI perception and decision-making with a physical body, such as humanoids, quadrupeds and mobile manipulators, shown with the components and software they are built from.
Which application areas does the show focus on?
Three: industrial (factories and logistics), commercial services (hotels, retail, catering) and special operations such as power inspection, mining, chemical plants and emergency rescue.
Is it the same show as the 'Asia Embodied Robotics Application & Supply Chain Expo' on the venue calendar?
Yes. Shenzhen World lists it under that name; the organiser brands it ROBOTECH.
Are there talks, and in what language?
Seven forums run on the show floor over the three days. The programme is published in Chinese, so expect most sessions to be in Mandarin.
Can I get help finding suppliers?
Yes. The organiser offers pre-show online matchmaking, on-site one-to-one meetings and benchmark factory tours, and publishes buyers' purchasing requests on the show site.
