What is ES SHOW – Shenzhen International Semiconductor & Electronic Components Exhibition?
ES SHOW is a components show: the chips, passives and parts that go onto a circuit board. It is co-hosted by the Shenzhen Electronics Chamber of Commerce and RX, and run day to day by Yihuiyuan Exhibition, a Shenzhen company. It takes one hall (Hall 15) at Shenzhen World in Bao'an during the big late-October electronics week, next to RX's NEPCON ASIA, C-TOUCH & DISPLAY, Automotive World China, VisionChina and several other shows. It now also carries a second title, the Shenzhen International Future Electronics Industry Exhibition (深圳国际未来电子产业展览会).
On the floor you'll find semiconductors and discrete devices, power devices and modules, resistors, capacitors, inductors, relays, transformers and circuit protection, connectors and switches, plus embedded boards, automotive electronics, displays and PCBs. The organizer highlights third-generation semiconductors, AI computing chips, automotive-grade parts, advanced packaging, RISC-V, memory and domestic substitutes for imported parts. Many exhibitors are small and mid-sized Chinese makers and distributors. Names on the official site include Shenzhen Huaqiang Group, Han's Laser, CJT connectors, SJK crystal oscillators, Jingtai optocouplers, Lishengda alloy resistors and the distributor Hongtai Micro, which carries Samsung, Yageo and Sanhuan lines. For 2026 the organizer plans about 350 exhibitors on 20,000 m² and 30,000+ visitors, and more than 20 forums.
The buyers are the point. The show sells itself as a sourcing channel for engineers and purchasers from OEMs, ODMs and EMS factories across the Pearl River Delta. Its pre-registered buyer lists for 2026 include purchasing teams from Foxconn, Goertek, vivo, ZTE, Chery, SAIC-GM-Wuling and Sunlord. RX's TAP programme arranges one-to-one meetings with invited buyers. Four national skills contests run on the floor in 2026: soldering, board-level fault repair, wire-harness making and PCB design. The organizer also holds supplier visits to member companies through the year.
Shenzhen is a global trading hub for electronic components, with the Huaqiangbei markets and online platforms such as LCSC. ES SHOW brings that trade into an exhibition hall. It is most useful if you design hardware and want second-source or domestic alternatives for parts, or if you buy components for a factory. Because the badge also covers NEPCON ASIA's SMT lines and the display and automotive shows in neighbouring halls, it fits into a full day at the venue.
Why go
- Find Chinese component makers and distributors (passives, discretes, power devices, connectors, crystals, optocouplers) for second-sourcing or domestic substitution
- Same week and site as NEPCON ASIA, C-TOUCH & DISPLAY, Automotive World China and VisionChina, so one trip covers the whole electronics supply chain
- Meet buyers from Pearl River Delta OEM, ODM and EMS factories; 2026 pre-registered buyers include Foxconn, Goertek, vivo and ZTE
- Watch national electronics skills contests on the floor: soldering, board repair, wire harness and PCB design
- Focus topics include third-generation semiconductors, automotive-grade parts, RISC-V and advanced packaging
Our take
Pre-register under your real name and bring the same passport, because badges are exchanged on site after an ID check. ES SHOW is only Hall 15, so pair it with NEPCON ASIA or C-TOUCH & DISPLAY next door. Many exhibitors are Chinese SMEs, so bring a WeChat QR code and a Chinese-language part list if you can.
Go if you're
- Hardware engineers and purchasing managers at OEM, ODM and EMS factories
- Automotive, new-energy, appliance and industrial-control manufacturers sourcing parts
- Component distributors and traders
- Overseas buyers sourcing from South China; the organizer names Russia, Korea, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Iran and Germany as main source countries

Flying in? The visitor guide
What international buyers ask us most, in one place.
Many passports get 30 days visa-free, and 55 nationalities can use 240-hour visa-free transit via Shenzhen when flying on to a third country. Check your eligibility before booking.
Link a Visa or Mastercard to Alipay or WeChat Pay before you fly — booths, taxis and canteens rarely take cards. Keep ¥500 cash for samples.
Get a roaming eSIM: Google, WhatsApp and Gmail don't work on hotel or venue Wi-Fi. Suppliers will ask for your WeChat, not your email.
Pre-register, bring your passport to collect the badge, and pack 200 business cards. Photograph each card next to the booth number — you'll forget by day two.
Hall English is patchy outside the big brands. A freelance interpreter costs ¥800–1,500 a day; book a week ahead for big fairs.
Don't carry 40 kg home. SF Express and DHL counters sit in the main lobbies and will ship samples door to door from about ¥200.
Hotels on site sell out months ahead. Bao'an Center or Qianhai are 25–30 min away with far more choice.
- Wear proper walking shoes — 20k steps a day is normal.
- Taxi queues after 5pm are brutal; walk to Shenzhen World North station or book a Didi for 4:30pm.
- Food courts sit along the central corridor; the ones at the far ends are quieter.
