What is CIBE Shenzhen: Shenzhen International Wellness & Beauty Industry Expo?
CIBE Shenzhen is the December Shenzhen stop of the China International Beauty Expo (美博会), the Guangzhou beauty fair founded in 1989 by Ma Ya and the Guangdong beauty and cosmetics trade association. CIBE now runs eight shows a year in six cities: Guangzhou (March and September, the flagship), Beijing, Hangzhou from 2027, Shenzhen, and new editions in Indonesia and Vietnam. The Shenzhen show began in October 2019 at the Futian Convention & Exhibition Center, and at the end of 2021 it was merged with a Shenzhen catering expo and a vaping-industry fair under a broad 'health' theme. It has since settled into a year-end slot focused on beauty and wellness. The 7th edition is in December 2026.
It is a trade show for people who run or supply beauty businesses. The organizer's category list for the 2025 edition covered skincare and cosmetics, salon ('professional line') skincare, medical aesthetics, beauty devices, scalp and hair care, nails and press-on nails, lash extensions, aromatherapy and essential oils, traditional Chinese medicine and food-as-medicine wellness, moxibustion, postnatal recovery, weight management, cosmetic raw materials, packaging and OEM/ODM factories. The exhibitors are mostly Chinese small and mid-sized brands and contract manufacturers rather than international names. The 2025 brand previews listed, among others, Facialway and Famnni essential-oil spa lines, Jiechang and Herb Atrium body-care and wellness sets, BODYMIO smart body-composition scales, slimming devices from Nanyang Renhe Pharmaceutical, OEM wellness and skincare from Guangdong Meizhiyuan Biotech, and a county government pavilion selling Yao herbal bath packs from Congjiang in Guizhou.
Visitors are beauty-salon and spa owners, nail and lash studio operators, distributors, e-commerce and livestream sellers, and brand founders looking for factories. In 2025 Douyin E-commerce ran its own zone with a livestreaming booth, product-selection shelves and two stages, which says a lot about where these products are sold. The organizer also runs 20-plus side events per edition: skin-management salons, business matchmaking sessions and KOL matchmaking.
For Shenzhen's cross-border sellers and private-label brand builders it is a compact place to find Guangdong beauty and wellness OEMs and see what is selling on Chinese social commerce. Entry for trade visitors is free with online pre-registration.

- Free for pre-registered trade visitors
Our take
Most stands are Chinese-speaking SME brands and factories, so bring a Chinese speaker if you are sourcing and ask about minimum orders and export paperwork. Treat the medical-aesthetics and health claims on show with care. Dates have differed between sources in past years, so check the organizer's Shenzhen page before you go.

Flying in? The visitor guide
What international buyers ask us most, in one place.
Many passports get 30 days visa-free, and 55 nationalities can use 240-hour visa-free transit via Shenzhen when flying on to a third country. Check your eligibility before booking.
Link a Visa or Mastercard to Alipay or WeChat Pay before you fly — booths, taxis and canteens rarely take cards. Keep ¥500 cash for samples.
Get a roaming eSIM: Google, WhatsApp and Gmail don't work on hotel or venue Wi-Fi. Suppliers will ask for your WeChat, not your email.
Pre-register, bring your passport to collect the badge, and pack 200 business cards. Photograph each card next to the booth number — you'll forget by day two.
Hall English is patchy outside the big brands. A freelance interpreter costs ¥800–1,500 a day; book a week ahead for big fairs.
Don't carry 40 kg home. SF Express and DHL counters sit in the main lobbies and will ship samples door to door from about ¥200.
Walk to a dozen business hotels in the CBD, and to the rooftop bars afterwards.
- Enter from the metro level, not the street — the badge desks are underground.
- Lunch: skip the hall canteens and walk 5 min to the malls around Shopping Park.
