Recap · Shenzhen Home Decoration Festival 2026
1–3 Oct 2026 at Futian CEC
Consumer home-renovation fair over the National Day holiday: building materials, custom furniture, appliances, mattresses and renovation firms, with show-only deals.
What is Shenzhen Home Decoration Festival?
The Shenzhen Home Decoration Festival is a consumer shopping fair for people renovating or furnishing a flat, not a trade show. It is run by Wuyou Anju (无忧安居), a Shenzhen group-buying and renovation website, and it comes around several times a year at the Futian Convention & Exhibition Center, often timed to a long weekend or public holiday. That is why the edition numbers climb so fast: the 53rd edition was in April 2026, the 54th over the Dragon Boat Festival in June, and the 56th runs over the National Day holiday in October 2026.
Each edition fills one or two halls with a few hundred home brands and local renovation firms. The organizer's announcements for 2026 editions speak of more than 300 brands, covering custom wardrobes and kitchens, doors and windows, bathrooms and tiles, kitchen and home appliances, smart locks and smart-home systems, flooring, paint, curtains, sofas and mattresses, plus design and renovation companies that will quote for a whole flat. The brand list published for a late-2024 edition is a who's who of what goes into a Chinese apartment: ZUOYOU sofas as title sponsor, OPPEIN and Sogal custom furniture, Midea, Fotile, Robam and Siemens appliances, Arrow bathrooms, Nature flooring, Marco Polo tiles, Nippon and Dulux paint, Gree and Daikin air-conditioning, and mattresses from De Rucci, Serta, Airland and Simmons.
What you get as a visitor is price, not networking. Brands quote show-only prices and discounts, the organizer hands out general-purpose vouchers, and orders placed at the fair go into hourly cash draws and a big prize draw on stage. Free design consultations are offered, and organizer materials for 2026 say show deals can be combined with Shenzhen's government home-renovation subsidies. A late-2024 edition was held with guidance from the Futian District housing and construction bureau.
For a foreigner who has just bought or leased an unfurnished flat, or a landlord refitting one, it is a convenient way to compare many kitchen, wardrobe, window and appliance brands under one roof in a single afternoon, with a Chinese-speaking friend to handle the haggling and paperwork. Entry is free with a ticket booked through the organizer's WeChat account, and one ticket covers the family.
Why go
- Compare custom kitchens, wardrobes, windows, bathrooms, appliances and mattresses from many brands in one visit
- Show-only prices, vouchers and prize draws tied to orders placed at the fair
- Talk to local renovation and design firms and get free design advice
- Free entry; one ticket admits the whole family
- Held on public holidays, so you don't need to take time off
Our take
Everything is in Chinese and the deals assume you'll sign an order on the day, so go with a Chinese-speaking friend and with your flat's measurements and floor plan. Compare a few brands' quotes before paying a deposit, and read the conditions on vouchers and draws. Take metro line 1 or 4 to Convention & Exhibition Center station.
Go if you're
- Homeowners renovating or furnishing a new flat
- Tenants and landlords refitting an apartment
- Families shopping for appliances, mattresses and furniture over a holiday weekend

Forums, awards & what else is on
- Show-only prices, vouchers and order-linked prize draws
- Free design consultations (designer forum)
- Deals that organizer materials say can be combined with Shenzhen's home-renovation subsidies (2026)
Flying in? The visitor guide
What international buyers ask us most, in one place.
Many passports get 30 days visa-free, and 55 nationalities can use 240-hour visa-free transit via Shenzhen when flying on to a third country. Check your eligibility before booking.
Link a Visa or Mastercard to Alipay or WeChat Pay before you fly — booths, taxis and canteens rarely take cards. Keep ¥500 cash for samples.
Get a roaming eSIM: Google, WhatsApp and Gmail don't work on hotel or venue Wi-Fi. Suppliers will ask for your WeChat, not your email.
Pre-register, bring your passport to collect the badge, and pack 200 business cards. Photograph each card next to the booth number — you'll forget by day two.
Hall English is patchy outside the big brands. A freelance interpreter costs ¥800–1,500 a day; book a week ahead for big fairs.
Don't carry 40 kg home. SF Express and DHL counters sit in the main lobbies and will ship samples door to door from about ¥200.
Walk to a dozen business hotels in the CBD, and to the rooftop bars afterwards.
- Enter from the metro level, not the street — the badge desks are underground.
- Lunch: skip the hall canteens and walk 5 min to the malls around Shopping Park.
