What is Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition & Shenzhen Creative Week (SIFE)?
SIFE is Shenzhen's own furniture fair, founded in 1996 and organized by the Shenzhen Furniture Association and Shenzhen Dezong Exhibition; the English site also names the furniture retail groups EasyHome and Fusen Noble-House as co-organizers. It now runs under the umbrella name Shenzhen Creative Week, and its pitch is design, new product launches and ties to the city's tech industry rather than sheer volume. It takes place every March, which the organizer describes as South China's main season for sourcing furniture and interiors. The 42nd edition, in March 2027, is announced for the Futian Convention & Exhibition Center.
The core show covers living and dining furniture, sofas and recliners, mattresses and bedding, custom cabinetry, kids' furniture and original design, with side exhibitions for lifestyle and décor, a smart-home expo, a supply-chain section and the Design Dome, a curated space pairing international and Chinese designers. At the 2026 edition the organizer highlighted smart-home launches from KUKA Home, CHEERS, ZUOYOU, Serta, King Koil, MLILY, Airland, Stareep, CBD Home, Restonic and Musterring, among others: voice-controlled recliners, sleep-tracking beds hooked up to an AI assistant, even a motorized armchair that borrows from electric-vehicle tech. Chinese design brands such as NEODKO show new collections here too.
The smart-home angle is deliberate. Since working with Huawei's HiLink ecosystem in 2021, the fair has added a dedicated smart-home expo and now calls itself a launch port for connected furniture, lighting, sleep and control systems. A 'healthy living' exhibition, curated with design studios and certification bodies, looks at sustainable materials and healthier homes, and the 'Shenzhen Design Frontier' show gathers Greater Bay Area interior designers who curate full living scenes. The Design Power summit forum runs alongside.
Visitors are furniture retailers and distributors, interior designers and architects, property developers, hotel and office fit-out buyers, and e-commerce sellers. It is trade-only and no one under 18 is admitted. For anyone in Shenzhen's design or property scene it is the year's best single look at where Chinese furniture brands are heading, especially in smart sleep and connected homes, right in the city centre.
Why go

- Free three-day pass if you pre-register online
Our take
Pre-register with your passport details to get the free pass; the on-site price is only waived online. Plan around the brand launches and the curated design exhibitions rather than trying to walk every stand, and check the hall plan close to the date because the venue has changed between editions.

Flying in? The visitor guide
What international buyers ask us most, in one place.
Many passports get 30 days visa-free, and 55 nationalities can use 240-hour visa-free transit via Shenzhen when flying on to a third country. Check your eligibility before booking.
Link a Visa or Mastercard to Alipay or WeChat Pay before you fly — booths, taxis and canteens rarely take cards. Keep ¥500 cash for samples.
Get a roaming eSIM: Google, WhatsApp and Gmail don't work on hotel or venue Wi-Fi. Suppliers will ask for your WeChat, not your email.
Pre-register, bring your passport to collect the badge, and pack 200 business cards. Photograph each card next to the booth number — you'll forget by day two.
Hall English is patchy outside the big brands. A freelance interpreter costs ¥800–1,500 a day; book a week ahead for big fairs.
Don't carry 40 kg home. SF Express and DHL counters sit in the main lobbies and will ship samples door to door from about ¥200.
Walk to a dozen business hotels in the CBD, and to the rooftop bars afterwards.
- Enter from the metro level, not the street — the badge desks are underground.
- Lunch: skip the hall canteens and walk 5 min to the malls around Shopping Park.
