INNO100 is one of the easiest places in Shenzhen to experience new technology without arranging a factory visit. Inside the North Pavilion of Shenzhen Bay Culture Square, visitors can browse robots, exoskeletons, smart-home products, flying cameras and Kickstarter-style hardware, then watch 3D printers and laser equipment turn digital ideas into physical objects.
The store is free to browse, open daily and beside Talent Park. That makes it an ideal anchor for an afternoon that also includes drone food delivery, a driverless taxi and the Shenzhen Bay skyline.

What Is INNO100?
INNO100 describes itself as Kickstarter's first authorized offline retail experience in China. Instead of presenting technology behind museum glass, it places products in everyday scenarios where visitors can handle, compare and understand them.
The 1,100-square-metre space opened in late 2025 with more than 100 brands and a programme of technology events. Shenzhen Government describes it as both a consumer-innovation store and a platform for creators, with a “Universal Customization Workshop” for turning ideas into personalized products.
This makes it different from Huaqiangbei. Huaqiangbei exposes the supply chain through thousands of independent stalls; INNO100 presents a smaller, curated selection in a polished showroom. Both are worthwhile, but they tell different parts of Shenzhen's technology story.
Robots and Physical AI
The robot area is the main attraction for many visitors. Recent coverage has identified Unitree quadrupeds, small AI companions, smart mobility devices and other forms of physical AI among the rotating displays.
The important word is rotating. A robot standing in the store is not necessarily scheduled to walk or interact all day. If you want to see one particular model perform, contact INNO100 and ask:
请问这个机器人今天可以现场演示吗?几点? Can this robot be demonstrated today? What time?
For a general visit, the changing selection is part of the appeal. You may see a robot dog beside a consumer exoskeleton, an AI music product or a device that began as a crowdfunding campaign.
Our guide to humanoid robots in Shenzhen compares INNO100 with the larger Robot 6S Store in Longgang, EngineAI at UpperHills and the science museum.
Try an Exoskeleton
INNO100 has displayed consumer exoskeleton equipment designed to assist walking and outdoor activity. This is one of the rare Shenzhen technology experiences that can be understood immediately: put it on under supervision and feel how the motors respond to movement.
Do not assume every size or model will be available for a walk-in trial. Ask staff before making the exoskeleton the main reason for your visit. Follow fitting instructions and do not operate specialist equipment without supervision.
3D Printing and the Customization Workshop
The customization area is what turns INNO100 from a gadget shop into a hands-on technology stop. Official reporting identifies 3D printers and laser engravers, while recent venue information also describes UV printing, DTF printing and CNC equipment.
Visitors can watch digital fabrication in progress and, when a suitable activity is offered, personalize an item or join an introductory workshop. Recent programme information has advertised short beginner 3D-printing sessions with a small model to take away.
Browsing the equipment does not require the same arrangement as using it. For a workshop, ask for the current activity, finished item, duration, price, minimum age, language and cancellation process. Specialist CNC or fabrication demonstrations may require technical staff who are not continuously stationed on the retail floor.
Other Technology Worth Trying
INNO100's value is breadth. Shenzhen Government visitor information highlights AI-powered guitars, smart aroma diffusers, laser equipment and flying cameras. Smart-home areas show how products work together rather than lining them up as isolated boxes.
Spend the first ten minutes walking the full store before settling on one display. The product that makes the visit memorable may not be the robot you expected to see.
How Long Do You Need?
Allow 45–60 minutes for general browsing. Give it 90 minutes if staff can demonstrate a robot or exoskeleton. A booked workshop may need its own time block.
INNO100 should not consume an entire Shenzhen day. Its location is the advantage: you can leave the store and immediately continue through one of the city's best waterfront technology districts.
A Shenzhen Bay Technology Afternoon
2:00 p.m. — INNO100
Browse the robot zone, try currently available products and watch the customization equipment. Complete any booked workshop first so the rest of the afternoon remains flexible.
3:15 p.m. — Shenzhen Bay Culture Square
Walk through the stone-like public architecture and exhibition complex. Check the current cultural programme if you want to enter a gallery.
4:00 p.m. — Talent Park
Try the humanoid robot coffee shop or order drinks through Meituan's drone-delivery station. Our drone-delivery guide explains the locker and app sequence.
5:00 p.m. — Robotaxi
Check PonyPilot or Amap for a short ride inside the live Nanshan service area. Use our Shenzhen Robotaxi guide for booking and pickup instructions.
Sunset — Talent Park and Shenzhen Bay
Return to the water for the Houhai skyline. On a scheduled evening, remain for the Talent Park building light show or continue to Futian for Civic Center.
The full walking plan appears in our Shenzhen Bay technology attractions guide.
Is INNO100 Better Than Huaqiangbei?
Choose INNO100 for a comfortable, curated introduction to finished products, physical AI and digital fabrication. Choose Huaqiangbei for components, accessories, market energy, price comparison and a view into the hardware supply chain.
For a full technology day, visit Huaqiangbei in the morning and INNO100 in the afternoon. The route in our one-day Shenzhen technology itinerary keeps both areas manageable.
