Headliner
China · Stand-up comedy
Zhang Hui is a Chinese stand-up comedian who left a career in finance for comedy and became known to a national audience through the variety show Talk Show & Her Friends (脱口秀和Ta的朋友们). Her material turns everyday awkwardness into stories about relationships, family expectations, cultural differences and the unwritten rules of adult life. «Ambition», her first English-language special, is about admitting what you want and going after it; she has taken it abroad, including a Vancouver date in August 2026. The Shenzhen show, presented by Bravo Comedy!, is a rare chance to see a Chinese comic's full-length special performed in English.
