Rainie Yang is a Taiwanese singer, actress and TV host who has been in the spotlight for 25 years. She started in the girl group 4 in Love in 2000, co-hosted the long-running variety show Guess, and became a pan-Asian drama star with Devil Beside You (2005), later winning a Golden Bell Award for Best Actress for Hi My Sweetheart. Her music career runs in parallel: her 2005 debut album Ambiguous (曖昧) went platinum, and 'Rain Love' (雨爱) and 'Take Me Away' (带我走) are among her best-known songs. In 2024 she competed on the mainland show Singer. The Elephant in the Room world tour plays Shenzhen Sports Center Arena; expect polished Mandopop ballads and big-screen production.
