About Coco Park
Coco Park is the Star River COCO Park mall at Shopping Park station, and the name everyone uses for the night-out district around it. Its outer ring is the COCO Park bar street (酒吧街): two floors of bars and dance clubs facing the open-air terraces, Futian's busiest nightlife strip and the one locals send visitors to first.
The ground floor is mostly young and loud: hip-hop bars like Orangutan Bunker (猩猩地堡) and SOLO, one of Shenzhen's first hip-hop bars, the K-pop and hip-hop dance club Sicilia (西西里), the neon dance club VIVA with its outdoor bar, OASIS, a palm-tree lounge with a band every night and a DJ later, and ZAZOO, the live house where singers do Western pop every night and weekend tables book up a week ahead. Upstairs, Vila is the club with the big weekend shows and the most foreigners. Mint, by the road, is for shisha and a drink rather than dancing. On the east side, PEPPER, the house club that put Shenzhen on international DJs' maps in the 2010s, reopened in October 2026 with a cocktail lounge (live trumpet and sax) and a tech-house room.
Across Fuhua 1st Road, Link CentralWalk (领展中心城) has PLAY X, a multi-room club complex that books big international DJs, and Revolución for salsa and bachata on Wednesdays. It gets going late: the strip is busiest around 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. Start with the view from Free Sky or a hotel bar, then walk over.
