Anytime ideas
No booking, no schedule — things worth doing in Shenzhen any day of the week.
Shenzhen's highest peak. 3–4 hours up the Taishan Jian route, city views all the way.
15 km of flat waterfront path from Shekou to Futian, with Hong Kong across the water.
Converted factories full of galleries, bookshops, coffee and the odd livehouse gig.
Old Shenzhen's shopping streets — skewers, bubble tea and the busiest crossings in town.
