What is China (Shenzhen) Watch Week & WINNOTIME?
China (Shenzhen) Watch Week is the city's watch fair, and since 2026 it has run together with WINNOTIME, a wearable-technology show. The fair dates back to 1990 and traded under the CWCF name up to its 30th edition. After a seven-year gap it returned in June 2026 as the 31st edition at the Futian Convention & Exhibition Center, relaunched to cover smartwatches, smart glasses and other wearables alongside mechanical watches. The 32nd edition is announced for 25–27 June 2027; the venue had not been confirmed as of September 2026. It is organized by Shenzhen Jingpin Exhibition (FINETIME) with the Shenzhen wearable-industry federation and the Shenzhen Watch & Clock Association, with support from the Hong Kong, Macau, Guangdong and Guangzhou watch trade bodies.
The context is Shenzhen's weight in the industry. According to the organizer's 2026 review, the city has more than 1,000 watch-related companies, makes around 53% of China's watches and 42% of the world's, and nearly 90% of the world's smartwatch hardware passes through its supply chain. Much of that is clustered in Time Valley in Guangming District, where suppliers that started out making gears, hairsprings, sapphire crystals and coatings now also supply smartwatch and smart-glasses components to companies such as Apple, Huawei and Samsung.
The 2026 show had eight zones, including branded watches, precision manufacturing and accessories (machine tools, surface finishing, coatings), AI and digital services, and the Wearable Park for smart wearables, AI hardware and health tech. The most interesting part for enthusiasts was Watch Plaza, a collectors' and independent-watchmaking space, and its China Wave pavilion of Chinese brands. It paired heritage names (FIYTA, the special supporting partner, plus Beijing Watch, Shanghai Watch, Sea-Gull, Peacock and Polaris) with a new wave of independents and microbrands such as AGELOCER, BODERRY, CIGA Design, ANPASSA, Cronus Art, Haofa and MANDETBROTE.
The 2026 programme included more than a dozen forums, among them the 29th Guangdong-Hong Kong Watch Industry Forum, a Greater Bay Area wearable-industry forum, a precision-manufacturing forum and a Gen Z consumer-trends forum, plus World Tourbillon Day events and product launches. For buyers it is a way into Shenzhen's watch supply chain; for collectors in Shenzhen it is the best single place to see what Chinese watchmaking looks like now.

Our take
Entry rules and the 2027 venue were not published as of late September 2026, so check the WINNOTIME site and its WeChat account before going; the site has intention forms for trade buyers and media. If you are sourcing, the precision-manufacturing and accessories zone is where the supply chain is; if you are a collector, head straight for Watch Plaza.

Flying in? The visitor guide
What international buyers ask us most, in one place.
Many passports get 30 days visa-free, and 55 nationalities can use 240-hour visa-free transit via Shenzhen when flying on to a third country. Check your eligibility before booking.
Link a Visa or Mastercard to Alipay or WeChat Pay before you fly — booths, taxis and canteens rarely take cards. Keep ¥500 cash for samples.
Get a roaming eSIM: Google, WhatsApp and Gmail don't work on hotel or venue Wi-Fi. Suppliers will ask for your WeChat, not your email.
Pre-register, bring your passport to collect the badge, and pack 200 business cards. Photograph each card next to the booth number — you'll forget by day two.
Hall English is patchy outside the big brands. A freelance interpreter costs ¥800–1,500 a day; book a week ahead for big fairs.
Don't carry 40 kg home. SF Express and DHL counters sit in the main lobbies and will ship samples door to door from about ¥200.
Walk to a dozen business hotels in the CBD, and to the rooftop bars afterwards.
- Enter from the metro level, not the street — the badge desks are underground.
- Lunch: skip the hall canteens and walk 5 min to the malls around Shopping Park.
