What is China (Shenzhen) Cross Border E-commerce Fair (CCBEC)?

CCBEC is Shenzhen's big B2B fair for cross-border e-commerce, run jointly by Messe Frankfurt's Shenzhen arm, China Merchants Exhibition Management, OCT's exhibition company and Beijing Talent International Exhibition. It started in September 2021 at Shenzhen World in Bao'an and has returned every year; the 2027 edition, the seventh, moves forward to 18–20 August and uses Halls 9–12.

The show is built around the three things a marketplace seller needs. Most of the floor is suppliers, grouped into themed halls (consumer electronics, fashion and lifestyle, sports and leisure, home living) and 14 product categories from beauty and pet supplies to festive goods, toys, sporting goods, building materials and medical care products. Specialised zones change each year; in 2026 there were areas for Christmas and party supplies, print-on-demand, consumer security products, lighting, toys, equestrian gear, silver-economy wellness, logistics and tax compliance. Regional pavilions bring factory clusters from places such as Ningbo, Hunan and Taizhou. The second group is service providers: freight and overseas warehousing, payments, ERP and operations software, marketing agencies, IP and legal help. The third is the marketplaces themselves. For 2026 the organizers listed Amazon Global Selling, eBay, SHEIN, TikTok Shop, Alibaba.com, AliExpress, Mercado Libre, Allegro, Wildberries, Jumia, Rakuten, Shopee, Lazada and more than a dozen others.

For a Shenzhen-based Amazon, TikTok Shop or Temu seller, the attraction is the density of useful contacts in one trip out to Bao'an. You can test new suppliers, sit in on platform policy briefings, and compare 3PLs and payment firms side by side. In 2025, LG CNS came specifically to pitch an Amazon advertising optimisation tool to Shenzhen sellers, and Ant International used the fair to meet buyers heading into Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

The 2025 edition reported more than 1,500 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions and 78,461 buyer visits over about 80,000 square metres. Alongside the floor there are 100+ fringe sessions, including the China (Shenzhen) Cross Border E-commerce Development Forum with platform-specific briefings (Amazon, eBay, SHEIN, TikTok Shop) and emerging-market sessions on Africa, Europe and Latin America, logistics matchmaking, and the CCBEC Awards for service providers and best-selling products. The organizers also run matchmaking online and factory-cluster visits in the Pearl River Delta through the year. Entry is free but limited to trade visitors aged 18 and over.

Why go

  1. Meet 25+ marketplaces' seller-recruitment teams in one place, from Amazon Global Selling and TikTok Shop to Allegro, Wildberries, Mercado Libre and Jumia
  2. Source from about 1,500 suppliers in themed halls, including print-on-demand, festive, toy and lighting zones aimed at marketplace sellers
  3. Compare logistics, overseas-warehouse, payment, tax-compliance and ad-tech providers side by side
  4. Hear platform policy briefings and emerging-market sessions at the Development Forum
  5. Free trade entry, with a more international exhibitor and buyer mix than most Chinese e-commerce fairs

Our take

Shenzhen World is next to the airport in Bao'an, far from Futian and Nanshan, so plan a long trip across town. It is professional buyers only and under-18s are refused, so bring business cards. Check the fringe programme ahead of time: platform briefings are mostly in Mandarin.

Go if you're

  • Amazon, TikTok Shop, Temu and SHEIN sellers sourcing products and services
  • Brands and factories deciding which marketplace or region to expand into
  • Overseas importers and distributors sourcing Chinese goods for online retail
  • Logistics, payment, software and agency firms looking for seller clients

Flying in? The visitor guide

What international buyers ask us most, in one place.

Visa-free entry

Many passports get 30 days visa-free, and 55 nationalities can use 240-hour visa-free transit via Shenzhen when flying on to a third country. Check your eligibility before booking.

Paying for things

Link a Visa or Mastercard to Alipay or WeChat Pay before you fly — booths, taxis and canteens rarely take cards. Keep ¥500 cash for samples.

Staying online

Get a roaming eSIM: Google, WhatsApp and Gmail don't work on hotel or venue Wi-Fi. Suppliers will ask for your WeChat, not your email.

Badge & business cards

Pre-register, bring your passport to collect the badge, and pack 200 business cards. Photograph each card next to the booth number — you'll forget by day two.

Interpreters

Hall English is patchy outside the big brands. A freelance interpreter costs ¥800–1,500 a day; book a week ahead for big fairs.

Samples & shipping

Don't carry 40 kg home. SF Express and DHL counters sit in the main lobbies and will ship samples door to door from about ¥200.

Where to stay near Shenzhen World

Hotels on site sell out months ahead. Bao'an Center or Qianhai are 25–30 min away with far more choice.

  • Wear proper walking shoes — 20k steps a day is normal.
  • Taxi queues after 5pm are brutal; walk to Shenzhen World North station or book a Didi for 4:30pm.
  • Food courts sit along the central corridor; the ones at the far ends are quieter.
