Skip Skip Ben Ben is the project of Taiwanese singer, guitarist and songwriter Ben Ben, formerly one half of the Taipei band Boyz & Girl. The songs grow out of shoegaze, folk and indie rock: hazy, reverb-soaked guitars, drifting vocals and a homemade, lo-fi intimacy that has won the project fans well beyond Taiwan. Records include Sacrifice Mountain Hills and 鏡中鏡 (Mirror in Mirror), and Ben Ben has worked with many bands in Taiwan's indie scene. The two-city China tour stops in Shenzhen on 6 October.
