Schwefelgelb ('sulphur yellow') are a Berlin duo who call their sound 'techno body music': the shouted German vocals and hammering analogue basslines of 1980s EBM, fused with modern techno and electro. Records like Wie Die Finger Durch Den Nebel (2016, Fleisch Records) made their name, they've remixed Rammstein's 'Haifisch', and they've become one of the most in-demand live electronic acts in the club underground, touring widely. Their shows are sweaty, physical and built for dancing. OIL brings them to Shenzhen on 23 October.
