PACT (派克特, real name Wang Kun) is a Chinese rapper from the Xi'an scene who made his name in freestyle battles long before rap reached prime-time TV: he is a two-time national champion of the Iron Mic battle. In 2010 he co-founded the independent hip hop label NOUS UNDERGROUND, and in 2018 he reached the top nine of The Rap of China, the same year he released 再见Hip-Hop with Chang Chen-yue, MC HotDog and 功夫胖. He has kept returning to rap competitions since, including 中国说唱巅峰对决 in 2022. The IMPACT club tour at ON AIR is Chinese-language rap with a battle-sharpened delivery.
