Max Durante is a Roman DJ and producer and one of the founding figures of Italian industrial techno. He started DJing in Rome in 1987, co-organised some of the city's early raves in the 1990s, and co-founded Automatic Sound Unlimited, a project that laid the groundwork for Italy's first industrial and hard techno sound. Since 2017 he has held a residency at Tresor, the Berlin techno institution. Expect dark, driving, no-frills techno from someone who has been playing it for nearly forty years; he headlines the 殺氣疼疼 night at OIL.
