Indignu are a post-rock band from Barcelos in northern Portugal, formed in 2004 and now one of the country's best-known instrumental acts. Their slow-building pieces are driven by electric guitars, but the signature is the violin, which often carries the melody over tremolo guitar and patient drums. Since their debut Fetus in Fetu (2010) they've released Odyssea (2013), Ophelia (2016), umbra (2018) and adeus (2022). Fans of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Explosions in the Sky or Mogwai will feel at home.
