Buenos Aires, Argentina · Hardgroove, Tribal techno, Dub techno
Gina Demarchi is a DJ and producer from Buenos Aires whose sound draws on tribal rhythms, hardgroove, dub techno and hip hop, adding up to percussive, driving sets with a loose, rolling swing. She releases on European techno labels, including her Veil EP on FLASH Recordings, and her records are stocked by specialist shops like Juno. She headlines the Disorder Gravity party at OIL with DJ Gordon on a Golden Week Sunday: a good pick if you like your techno rhythmic rather than pounding.
