FancyWall (花墙) are a Beijing band that started in 2013 as a group of middle-school friends and became properly active from 2017. They file their busy, colourful sound under hyper pop: punk energy, funk grooves and vaporwave-style synths and electronic effects, with two lead vocalists trading lines. Since 2017 they have played more than 300 shows, including festivals such as Strawberry, Midi and Maitian. The «This, That» tour celebrates their tenth anniversary, and the Halloween-night show at MAO Sea World should be one of the livelier livehouse nights of the autumn.
