Sea World is Shenzhen's easiest night out for conversation, outdoor seating and an international crowd. Bars and restaurants surround the Minghua ship and continue along International Bar Street, all within walking distance of Sea World station.
Arrive before 8 p.m., eat around the plaza, then watch the evening lights around the ship. Move to George & Dragon for a pub atmosphere or The Terrace for live music. On Friday and Saturday, inspect nearby independent venues before settling in.
The Terrace is the district's live-music anchor. Its current site lists daily opening, cocktails at roughly ¥88 and live music beginning at 9:30 p.m. The second-floor position above Sea World Square gives it indoor and outdoor seating.

George & Dragon is a British pub with draught beer, fish and chips, Sunday-style food, football and recurring social events. It works better than a nightclub for meeting residents because people sit at the bar and return for quizzes and matches.

Recent August 2026 residents also point newcomers to Flames, Tacos and other independent Sea World venues. Treat these as a walkable shortlist, not promises about the exact crowd on a particular night.
Choose it for English-friendly service, pub food, live bands and mixed-age groups. Choose COCO Park instead for a dense club crawl, or OIL when electronic music is the purpose of the night.
Use Sea World station (海上世界站) on Lines 2/8 and 12. The plaza is pedestrian-friendly. For a late finish, save the Chinese name of your hotel and use DiDi rather than relying on the last Metro.
